Closest thing in real life to the system Obama is trying to pass is the English and Canadian health systems.

Quote:

A man of 22 died in agony of dehydration after three days in a leading teaching hospital. Kane Gorny was so desperate for a drink that he rang police to beg for their help. They arrived on the ward only to be told by doctors that everything was under control. The next day his mother Rita Cronin found him delirious and he died within hours.

@gungasnake,
That's part of the Canadian and British health systems, Gunga. It's an easy way to get rid of malcontents.

The USA sends them off to die in foreign illegal invasions. Those that return are left to die on the streets or in VA hospitals.

Here's another effective way the USA deals with malcontents.

Harvard Medical Study Links Lack of Insurance to 45,000 U.S. Deaths a Year
By REED ABELSON

As the White House and Congress continue debating how best to provide coverage to tens of millions of Americans currently without health insurance, a new study (PDF) is meant to offer a stark reminder of why lawmakers should continue to try. Researchers from Harvard Medical School say the lack of coverage can be tied to about 45,000 deaths a year in the United States " a toll that is greater than the number of people who die each year from kidney disease.

“If you extend coverage, you can save lives,” said Dr. Steffie Woolhandler, a professor of medicine at Harvard who is one of the study’s authors. The research is being published in the December issue of the American Journal of Public Health and was posted online Thursday.

God damn that Obama and those other meddlers. Just when things were going so well, they have to come along and stick their noses in it. Imagine, trying to get a system where doctors actually treat people instead of filling out paperwork and arguing with those warm-hearted caregivers from the private insurances scams, oops, ... I mean schemes.

Assuming that were believable, which is a lot of assuming...

Why then don't the democrats just pass Obama's bill? I mean, pubbies aren't stopping them, pubbies don't have the votes to stop anything at this juncture.

Could it be that the American public doesn't want this bill? Why would that be?? Could it possibly be because they think all it amounts to is a way to take money from them and hand it over to dem voting block participants and designated victim groups, some of whom aren't even in the country legally??

NOOooo, you don't say, tell me you're kidding.... You really think Borque Oinquebama or Nazi Piglosi or Dingy Harry Reed would do something like that???? You're shittting me??

I sure that some of them that are as stupid as you believe that. But not to worry. It won't freeze the US voter into any set plan/party. There is always a surfeit of idiots that will rise to the occasion of voting another idiot into the office of prez.

It happened twice with GWB and what are the chances that you could find somebody that dumb, that incompetent, that venal, that dishonest, ... wait, there was McCain and there's Sarah.

Never fear Gunga, the cesspool of Repub candidates is deep indeed. There's always another one rotting at the bottom waiting its chance to float to the surface.

@gungasnake,
LOL and more LOL as for every horror story such as you had posted here a fast google search would produce far more such concerning the good old America health care system.

That is the limit of your logic picking out a horror story and therefore we should be the only Western Country without universal health care?

Forty millions uncover and we pay double what England does per patient!!!!

@BillRM,
Like I said, this plan has been weighed in the scales and found lacking, even by democrats, and the pubbies have no power to stop it. Call up your local democrat representative and complain.

Don't be so dumb, Gunga. A lack of medical care is going to cause deaths. The US has a infant mortality rate that is below Cuba's, that's on a level with some third world countries.

Is Gunga a real person? Can anyone actually be that stupid and still be able to write a complete sentence and use a computer? He's a caricature, created by some demented puppet-master.
