@littlek,
No, not at all. You're only a wee bit late, k. (Roberta started the thread on the 28th in the US. Technically the right day! Wink )

And thank you for such a lovely message. Oh. Smile

I wish I could personally thank everyone who has posted their good wishes here. May I just say thank you, you to all of you. This is really nice! Very Happy

And you're so kind, kind, k. Thank you.

(would you believe I spelled that as knind, the first go?! Laughing )

@msolga,
ha! I am a good speller, but only when I write. When I type I am terrible. Happily there's the auto spell check fucntion... er... function.

What did you do to celebrate your bday?

@littlek,
You'll think I'm crazy, k, so I hesitate to say exactly how I spent my birthday.

OK, I will. Writing a press release, then later on, standing in the middle of Sydney Road at a street festival handing out leaflets ... while muttering "Save public parkland in ....berg, really fast & really enthusiastically!"... 758 times! (A little group I belong to is holding an event in a couple of weeks' time. We want to save some existing public space from development.)

Yeah, nuts. I know. Don't tell me. Neutral

Then later, dinner out with a friend. Good! Very Happy

@msolga,
Sounds like a perfectly excellent birthday, MsO! doing something that you don't HAVE to, but need to/want to/enjoy - that's a good birthday.

@ehBeth,
Yes, & the company was good, too, Beth. (We did shifts.)

Tomorrow I'll be approaching something like 100 (wild guess) local traders to post leaflets in their windows advertising the event. Wish me luck! Smile

@msolga,
You have to be beating a bongo singing a bongolated version of happy babongo birthday to say that properly.
Please comprise a menu. No more then seven courses please.
Its your birthday, eight.

@Roberta,
Happy birthday, Olga! I'm not sure why we don't seem to have appeared on each other's radar screen until a year or two ago. But I'm happy that we have now. Have an orgy now and many birthdays in the future. I hope you can have one of them over here in the States. Your fan club here is huge!

It gets confusing at such an advanced age, doesn't it? 95/100/102, all much the same.

And I must say, you don't look a day over 29. Approaching 100. I am impressed Mr. Green

Oh you're too kind, alex!

Hmmmm, let me think: A spaghetti marinara (not sparing the garlic! Very Happy ), followed by some fresh fruit & cheese. That would be lovely!

Oh & washed down with a chilled sauv blanc!
