I need to know who makes this face/body scrub? Yeah, I know, now I'm a metrosexual who happens to like a clean face. The bottle was left behind (don't ask) and I tried it by chance and ...really like it. But, I'm running out. There's no label and I haven't spotted any bottle like it in any of the drug stores I skulked through. So, anyway. Who?

@Joe Nation,
you poor man...

this is the most painful aspect of divorce.

and quite a dilemma.

I am, of course, not a lick of help with the adorable bottle of peppermint and vavvoom.

if this tactic does not work, your best bet is to find the most trusted of her friends (good luck there) to take pity on you and ask her nonchalantly about it on your behalf.

(this never ever works out right, btw)

I miss my aftershave something fierce. or used to. I don't much shave anymore.

anyways, good luck, ...and use it sparingly, just in case...

That would explain your unkempt and strangely shaped beard Rockhead.

@Joe Nation,
If you can't get an expert's help on CSI'ing the source of the face/body scrub let me suggest you try an alternate source of metrosexual aromatic based hygiene products:
Lush:

Sorry, Joe, but I'm asking.

Who left the bottle, and why can't you just ask them?

That's like dropping a hundred dollar bill on the side of the road and calling out "Finder's keepers" then walking away. You're very difficult to ignore Lady Eva.

An a slightly related note, make sure you have your filter enabled before running a google image search on "face cream".

@Joe Nation,
So, you found an unlabeled bottle of stuff, and decided to rub it into your face?

This is why I love this site.

When herself left she left me with a number of things in the bathroom cabinet:

one large South of France Green Tea Vegetable Soap

one heart-shaped Camelia soap
http://img.smallflower.com/t/19505.jpg
a LOT of handmade soaps made by a friend of hers.....
http://www.naturalsoapshack.com/images/imagewrap_002.jpg
and the MYSTERY BOTTLE

which happened to be next to this:

Okay. I am a man. And I am a runner. About a year ago, after one particularly gritty-windblown run, I decided to try the Spa stuff.

Didn't like it. Too gritty. But what is this other stuff?

AH The Mystery Bottle. Hmmmm. No label, but it does just a little grit in it and it smells really good.

And it is up there with all those other soap items.
Hmmm. So.

I clean my face with it. It's tingly, my face feels fresh and ....it washes off easily.

What's not to like?

But now I know it's toothpaste.
Minty Whitening Toothpaste.

I guess I'm going to have to try to get used to using the SPA stuff.

What would I do without A2k?

Thanks to all.

Now I think I will take a long hot bath with one of the handmade soaps and a big luffa.

(anyone who's lived with spotty teenagers knows that toothpaste works to dry oily skin and helps with spots)

Yo, Joe. People gifted me with all sorts of fancy shmancy face cleansing stuff. I don't like the smell, and even if I did, I'm a soap and water type of girl.

The next time I see ya, the fancy shmancy stuff is yours. Now I don't have to throw out what people spent good money on.

Very handy to have a metroguy around.

@Rockhead,
Right, for sure.
Toothpaste has many uses, which I forget.
Maybe you are giving Colgate an idea. Let's say you invented this... you too could be rich! Make your claim now, we'll back you up. (I'm only half-kidding.)
