Using Itunes to Manage Music

I know some people are looking for more than simple drag and drop to get music from your PC onto your Droid, so i thought i might share this with you guys.

Its a program that uses Itunes and any music you have in your library. It took about 10 min for me to set up my droid, and put a few gigs of music on it.




Step By Step:
Download and Install
Be sure your Droid is hooked up via USB
Run Itunes Agent
In your system tray (by the clock) you will see a little Ipod, right click, and hit preferences
click "New"
Name your phone
Keep "Music Folder" field empty if you dont already have music on your device (if you do already have music, it will be deleted, so be sure to back up any music you dont have in Itunes)
Click "Create" on the right of "Recognize by Folder" and find your Droid in "My computer"
Save
Start up Itunes
you should see a New tab "My Devices" And under it, the name you gave your phone
Just drag and drop any songs from your library. Unfortunately, if you have quite a bit of music, and you only want some of it, it doesn't sync your checked selection.
Right click on the ipod in your system tray again, and "Synchronize devices"
let it work its magic, and your done


It brought over all my Album art, and everything just as i had (except lyrics) over nicely
