i didnt know what room to put his in so i'm putting it here:
I recently bought a pen titled FUSION it was clear so you could see the ink inside. The ink wasclear yet when you wrote it came out blue. Why and how does this happen?
There is a story on this on a site callled "Lunch With George" (They discuss all sorts of weird "How does that work" kinda stuff).
One of the people wrote in that they called the company and asked and were told that there is a tube with dye inside the pens. When you write the dye mixes with the clear gel in the main (visable) tube and you get ink on the paper.
I've yet to even see one of these pens so I can't validate that.
There could be a chemical in the ink that reacts with oxygen in the air to turn it blue.
No idea what the chemical could be as I'm not a chemist.
I'd love to see one of the pens though. Got a URL ?
