Adding a "pause" or "wait" into a phone number

This has be driving me nuts and a couple of hours of searching to find the answers.

To insert a 2 second pause into a phone number add a comma (,). E.g.:

123-456-789,000# To add a 4 second pause add 2 commas, etc.
It's useful to add a pause to the voicemail settings and then add your pin afterwards. E.g. *86,,1234#

To insert a wait function, add a semi-colon ";". When dialing the phone will pop up a box to send the tones after the wait. This is useful if there is a long time between the phone # and pin code you may have to enter.

Boy, you would think Motorola would make this easier to do or at least easier to figure out ... like provide usable DOCUMENTATION

Hmm...never thought to look into that. Pretty cool idea, actually. This way you don't have to put your pin in every time. I had an old phone that did this, but it was just a stored pin.
