Is there an app killer out there and if so where? I want something to stop live videos from playing as well as songs from music.

pcontrol can kill and also uninstall

I found it to be more prudent to go into Settings > Applications > Running Services. You can kill anything from there, but you'll see what's really using memory and what isn't.

Yes, unlike some Android phones, the Droid has an app killer built in (see YankeeDude post above). No need to download another app killer.
