I ordered my droid today - it will arrive on Monday - I am excited, but a little nervous - i am not a techie and am notorious for not using all the features that area available - I am going to need a tutorial when i get the phone! Now I am wishing I had just gone to the store so i could have it now! JR

@jrcelestial,
BEWARE this phone does NOT come with a manual! It comes with a little "get started: here's how the keyboard works" booklet and that's it. Everything else is apparently on the Motorola website. Good luck and enjoy your Droid!

@jrcelestial,
Why would motorola package it without a manual?...to save money somehow? I think that will be kind of annoying after a while to keep going to the website to learn how to work the phone unless you can download it on a pdf file.

@jrcelestial,
Product manuals are increasingly rare these days. Sad state of everyone trying to save a few pennies. Though in fairness, I've been involved in projects (Nomadio Sensor, React) that did this too... largely because, when software changed, the manual has to change too.

You can find the manual in PDF form here: http://www.motorola.com/support/droid. This is a fairly basic thing, 56 pages long... shows basic operation of several included apps, phone use, camera, etc. This page is mentioned on the back of the Quickstart Guide.
