i already got one free from motorola cause the one that came with it would slip off 25% of the time i pulled it out of my pocket. (the new one never), but 3 more backup is nice i just hope its the newer ones with the thicker padding

The door on my Droid, has a very tight fit. I've never have had an issue with it coming off.

The cover on my Droid also was coming off very easily when I took it out of my pocket. I now have it taped on, but would rather have a correct cover. I put it on the wishlist.

I too have never had a problem with the door coming off. I do have a hard plastic cover that covers the back with the exception of the camera. My wife's phone doesn't have a cover (yet), and she has never had a problem either.

Motorola sent me an email saying that I need to obtain a warranty replacement for it. Is this what you did?

Also, the 3 free doors is now one for $4.99 (but was offered 25% off, so $3.74). Not cool.

I logged into Motorola support and entered a support question to their website. They ask for the information about the phone. I told them I was having trouble with the door. They responded with an e-mail asking for my physical address so they could send me a new door. I got the replacement this week. No more battery door problems.
