I know Zagg is the big name in screen protectors out there, but they are on the expensive side. I bought and applied a Clear Protector brand off eBay for a whopping 7.29 SHIPPED and am very pleased with the results.
Mind you, it covers just the screen but that's all I need it to do. Prep time was involved but installation took mere minutes and the phone was up and running again.
I highly recommend it for savings and effectiveness. If you have any questions about prep or install just ask!

Just to let you know, the screen is Glass. There is not much out there that can scratch it, i guess if you carry diamonds in your pocket, that would do the trick.

I know I know, but I had the same thing on my Dare and it worked like a gem. I don't use a skin so I guess it's cheap reassurance

I stopped covering the screen on my iphone. I used the zagg after about 4 months took it off and it was like a new phone. Since then i stopped putting them on. I bought a case from verizon but it leaves the glass open. I prefer it that way though.

bestskinsever.com has the full phone skin for $4.99. From what I understand it's very comparable w/ Invisible Shield and def a whole lot cheaper.
