Motorola Droid Release Date

Picking mine up at 11 at best buy, I am going the quick way, no mail in rebate

Sadly I am in a rural area and there is no Best Buy within 10,000 miles of me LOL

Same here, I don't even have a VZW store within about 70 miles, Best Buy is about 100. So I got mine ordered last night online at about 9:30pm PST, was able to change the shipping address so it goes to my work. Expect it Monday at the latest.

No driving, no mail in rebate, no crowds, no sh!t. Just waiting for the happy FedEx truck.

You were not willing to drive 80 miles!!! I doubt there will be crowds.

Haha i wouldnt either!!! Im not a fan of standing in line or waiting mostly for a phone.

Well, the word is that there weren't that many lines as VZW and Moto didn't hype this baby like the iPhone. Plus, in these 'tough economic times' it's best not to take time off from work just to get a new gadget, doubt I would have even in good times. Like were I live, buy most everything online anyways. Just a tiny bit jealous of those that got theirs B4 me.
