Anyone out there ever deal with this radio not powering up. Motorola AXU4100 mod # AU4100GYF9AA. It just gives me 3 short beeps, and then displays "EEP ERR".
1- Battery has a full charge.
2- Tried another antenna.
If I hold the D button on power up the display will for a short time display "X0102" then all the crystals come on and stay on like a lamp check until I turn the power off. Otherwise the buttons do nothing.
The EER may stand for an EEPROM program error. I have looked on Motorola's web site and just like most large corporations when they stop making/selling it they don't care much about supporting it.
