@gustavratzenhofer,
How come CJ always pops up between us? It's like a little sister who sits on the couch between you and a date.

I have always said that the appearance of Green Witch is like Aphrodite rising from the foam.

@CalamityJane,
We do love you CJ. I just think it's funny how we seem to have a Gus radar.

@dirrtydozen22,
You could do some volunteer work for some organizations that interest you. You'll learn some skills and get some experience that will help widen your future job opportunities too.

For instance, when I was in high school during the '70's when the large SF Bay oil spill occurred, I volunteered at a neighborhood rancher's house after school to help clean crude oil off of the hundreds of rescued seabirds that were brought to his ranch. We also had to keep them warm and fed while they recovered in their boxes before they were relocated back to a clean seashore again.

@dirrtydozen22,
1st thing you do is develop a disability, it can be either mental or some kind of easily faked physical disability. Work it, develop it until it's second nature. never work at an actual paying job more than 3 days but never stop applying for assistance, any assistance at all like food stamps, salvation army, mental health, catholic charities, develop a resume of living off assistance and personal incompetence. If you really work at this plan you will be taken care of the rest of your life. remember you're not responsible for you life, society is.

@dirrtydozen22,
You could volunteer for a charity or a political cause. But it all depends on your financial needs and your time constraints as well as your social and political temperament.

@tsarstepan,
I've been unemployed since the end of August. Recently, I started to volunteer as a van assistant for God's Love We Deliver, a kind of Meals on Wheels program to deliver food and hot prepared meals for terminally ill patients with full blown AIDS and/or cancer. So far I've volunteered two Tuesdays. Should volunteer next week as well.

Don't want to go to college or get a full-time job?

Do what a relative of mine did. Become a professional moocher. Move in with other people and stay as long as you can for free (or close to it) until they kick you out. Then look for someone else. It takes a fair bit of charm to make this work for you, but it's cheap. All it will cost you is your self-respect.
