Hi! I'm new to this, so maybe the answer to this question will be obvious to some people, but....

What do the following words all have in common?

Sleigh, gobble, oblige, shells, igloo, hobbies.

Good luck, and be sure to tell me if you're stuck!

Easy. They all have to do with Eskimos. Let me explain:

Sleigh Eskimo mode of transportation

gobble
The sound Eskimos make when they eat
lard.

oblige What an Eskimo woman is forced to do
on frigid nights when her husband asks
for "a little nookie."

shells
What Eskimos shout when they see
the backs of giant sea turtles undulating
across the surface of the water

igloo
Where Eskimoes live.

hobbies What Eskimoes do to pass the time -
collect walrus tusks, made beads out
of seal teeth.... that sort of thing.

Try to come up with a tougher riddle next time.

Very good, Gus! Very Happy

But not the answer I'm looking for.....

Neither is the fact that the words are all in bold font. (Thought I should get that out of the way, because some wit would be bound to make that observation at some point.)

Anyway, keep trying! There is something that links all those words!

Gus answers are the most creative. Therefore he is, by vote, selected as the winner.

Alright, you've convinced me - Gus wins for creativity (and Butrfly for succinctness).
