about six or seven years ago i was listening to a drive time radio show out of detroit, and they were talking to people about uprooting their lives, and a woman called in to say that because of her husbands job they were having to move to holland, one of the hosts made a joke about sticking fingers in dykes, the woman got quite insulted, informed the host that she was happily married and not that kind of girl, turns out she didn't know the word had another meaning
