1. Do they have two souls?
2. Do they have two social security numbers?
3. Do they have two voter registration cards?
4. Do they have two drivers’ licenses?
5. If gay marriage is legal, may the two marry each other?
6. Is it bigamy if the twins marry two members of the opposite sex?
7. Is it bigamy if one marries one member of the opposite sex, and the other marries someone of the same sex?
8. Has a pair of Siamese twins ever married another pair of Siamese twins?

I just want to be Able2Know.

@kuvasz,
5. If gay marriage is legal, may the two marry each other?
That would be incest and obviously illegal.

Just curious... how many Long Island Iced Teas did you gulp down before writing this thread? Rolling Eyes

Yes. In this video it explains that they have to take the test twice:

The original "Siamese twins" (actually called "The Chinese Twins" in Siam) married sisters in America. There was strong opposition to the marriage and they threatened suicide through separation surgery if they were not allowed to marry but they eventually wed and had 22 children.

Edit: but one of the Hilton sisters was refused the marriage license because the other was not engaged. Not exactly bigamy of course.

I could swear that I remember something like this, but I can't find it right now.

@tsarstepan,
I had been reading the book " A Canticle for Leibowitz" where a character in a post-nuclear apocalypse had begun to grow another head on its shoulder and the local priest was asked to baptise the head. A discussion followed as to whether or not the extra head had a soul and if so whether the head could be an "Immaculate Conception."

Fine, fine book. I read it many years ago but remember it vividly.
