I was addicted to Johnny Carson's Tonite Show for many years. He's my second favorite after Graucho Marx.

Carson refused to script the interviews, and at the time those who were booked were willing to somewhat be themselves rather than act a part (usually as part of an effort to sell something). I liked that.

After Johnny I liked Letterman for awhile, but I cant watch any of them now.
