@msolga,
A song to welcome the first day of spring!

(Any little excuse will do. I loved The Producers! Smile )

@neko nomad,
Very soothing, neko. (Unlike the film, from what I can vaguely recall! Wink )
I wish I'd learned to play the piano!

@neko nomad,
Rudi -the guy with the cymbals - gets more than his fair share of my attention.

Let's step back in time now:

Imagine being treated to music
like this on primetime TV.

A guy in my senior class in high school did a neat lip synch performance
of this number during a morning assembly - didn't
know who the singer was at the time, though.

Heard this on my car radio while driving home this afternoon.

Sounded pretty good to me!

Okay, MsO; you take the stage name Keely while
mine'll be Louie, and let's wow the crowd with some black magic.

A haunting modern piano concerto style classic, also a motion picture score

from the movie While I Live,1947,
performed by a tv personality of yesteryear.

@neko nomad,
Here's a better link to that IMDB page:

While I Live

Seems to have been a good story, on a supernatural theme which was popular in the day.

carry on.

@neko nomad,
Duane Eddy was a major player on the '60s music scene.

The theme for a FEN broadcast program back then.

An obscure number that I can't
recall just where I was at the time
I first heard it. It stayed in my head
for what seems a half century now.
