@dagmaraka,
G'day, dag.

So very good to see you! (Why so rarely?.. I ask, slightly put out. Sad )

I'm in the middle cooking dinner & can't stop right now.

It'd be nice to see much more of you. That's what I wanted to say! Smile

I believe that!

Israel, source of the most beautiful bathing suits anywhere, and wonderful skin potions. <sigh>

@ehBeth,
heh, a small Freudian slip there.

But I do need a bathing suit, so I will get one in Israel....after the Dead Sea, so that it doesn't dissolve right away.

How you doin, Bethie?

@dagmaraka,
Not bad not bad - though I'd be better if I was planning a trip to Israel!

Keep us updated eh. I miss reading about the adventures of Dasha.

@ehBeth,
I am hesitant to start a thread...what with my posting track record as of late...but since i am sharing a room with my ex boss, it might just be a good therapy.

My senior students have defended their theses yesterday and are taking state exams (comprehensives) today and tomorrow. Next week, they are graduating. Sniff, my kids are spreading their wings.

I assume Thomas smokes.

I know that Thomas is a libertarian and lets people decide for themselves if a particular behavior is too risky.

The only problem I see with that approach is that smoking is very risky, but usually the problems only manifest later in life. Most people are not good at assessing a risk that is 20 years or more in their future.

There should be a policy of no smoking inside the school precises or near the school area. You can have compulsory activities in which they can engage physically like sports tournament and the like. A seminar or a small talk would be very beneficial too. You can invite people who had their smoking lifestyle before and let them speak and inspire students on how they came up with a decision of quitting this habit.

@dagmaraka,
Hi Dagmaraka,
By putting heavy penalty, random checking of students and their bags, smoking can be stopped.
