@dlowan,
I got a good compromise. Perhaps if we should hang their national flag out in honor of Australia, on the days we serve that potent tea then theirs and our honor will be kept clean.

I rather like that flag, tsar!

Now if we took the Union Jack out of it ...... Wink

It's a hot & sticky afternoon here. I wonder if you have any of that refreshing Oolong tea on hand?

@tsarstepan,
Thank you, thank you, tsar!

That tea arrangement looks like an artwork!

And the company of the house cat ... on the terrace, no less!

This is heaven! Very Happy

My faux pas!

Would a slice of chocolate cake make amends for the folly of my ways?

@dlowan,
Feel free to rummage through the kitchen and take whatever you want... on the house. I'm going to bed. Just don't burn the place down if you decide to cook something. Razz

Granny's always ravin' and rantin'
And she's always puffin' and pantin',
And she's always screaming and shouting,
And she's always brewing up tea.

Grandpappy's never late for his dinner,
Cos he loves his leg of beef
And he washes it down with a brandy,
And a fresh made cup of tea.

Chorus:
Have a cuppa tea, have a cuppa tea,
have a cuppa tea, have a cuppa tea,
Halleluja, halleluja, halleluja, Rosie Lea
Halleluja, halleluja, halleluja Rosie Lea.

If you feel a bit under the weather,
If you feel a little bit peeved,
Take granny's stand-by potion
For any old cough or wheeze.
It's a cure for hepatitis it's a cure for chronic insomnia,
It's a cure for tonsilitis and for water on the knee.

Chorus

Tea in the morning, tea in the evening, tea at supper
time,
You get tea when it's raining, tea when it's snowing.
Tea when the weather's fine,
You get tea as a mid-day stimulant
You get tea with your afternoon tea
For any old ailment or disease
For Christ sake have a cuppa tea.

Chorus,

Whatever the situation whatever the race or creed,
Tea knows no segregation, no class nor pedigree
It knows no motivations, no sect or organization,
It knows no one religion,
Nor political belief.

Chorus.

Neat thread tsarstepan. Although, I am not raising my pinky finger, when I drink tea.
Not a huge tea drinker,...but enjoy an occasional cup.
Blackberry sage, brown rice tea (don't knock it until you try it, many have assumed bad taste in regards to the name, many have changed their opinion), Oolong tea,, Hojicha, Genmaicha., Chamomile, and early spring mint leaves.
Iced or hot. Iced,...very weak tea, light in color, easy to guzzle. I don't think I ever typed that word. Guzzle. Hot, strong, black.,..or whatever color the leave renders ...
I have not read back on thread,...did you folks cover,...what food accompanies teas? I can not think of anything I'd like with tea to eat,...at least I pass on the scones, crumpets,..or little sandwiches..
More tea talk. Sweet southern tea. Is that the adult kool-aid? I don't mind the undissolved sugar cube at the bottom of the miniature tea cup, that amount of sugar, I can handle,...but some of that sweet tea from the south,....
and lastly,......sun tea. Many contest that since the water doesn't hit a boiling temperature, that bacteria is encouraged (Alcaligenes viscolactis) to grow. I never heard of anyone getting ill from drinking sun tea.

I've hadn't a decent glass of sweet southern tea since I left Fort Hood in 1994. Good times, sweet drink!

@tsarstepan,
southern sweet tea is an abomination, yes that tea is a salt pancake on the body human. verily I sayth unto you, let not your lips pass such toxin known as southern sweet tea. Jesus ******* christ why can't you just settle for a Dr Pepper and let it go.
