Love Barbra. Love everything about her. She's one of the last of the Grande Dames.
Can anyone recommend some jazzy numbers she does? Woman in Love, that Izzie posted is a nice song, that I recognize as one of the non-memorable songs I've heard at some point. Just not my style, but well sung.
@Robert Gentel,

I've never seen any evidence that she possesses talent, either as a singer or an actor.
@Setanta,
Follow the money.
She's a majorly wonderful American person. She'd tell you so herself too, if she was on A2K.
Gotta say she leaves me cold. The characters she plays in the couple movies I've seen her in came across as really irritating, especially that one where she was a college coed who loosened up Ryan O'Neal, ah, looked it up, "What's Up, Doc", tho it does have one of the all-time classic comic car chases, no thanks to her. I was once an onlooker for an hour or so of her and her entourage, and the divaness was pretty annoying . And her pop over-the-topness kinda underimpresses if you're a child of rock and roll. Not a fan.

Oh yeah . . . i don't doubt that . . .
Actually La Streisand was on a TV chat show here last evening, first time ever, and she was talking to out Jonathan Ross, a popular host here.
She was good, quite humble it seemed, a little shy maybe, not wearing any obvious makeup, and she talked for an hour (no breaks for commercials on BBC) and sang a couple of songs.
She was good.
@McTag,
Thanks for this to Bazza
