Hello I am new here but I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to the following puzzle, we have all seen them before here is an example
|R|E|A|D|I|N|G| which is reading between the lines. Now here is the one that has been stumping me.
What am I?
S
T
R
I
P
This is not Strip down...
Any help would be appreciated.
hey, fealola. That's a great guess, but I was a little puzzled by the fact that the "strip" is to the left side. Would that make a difference?
equus, you smart thing. That's gotta be it.
Perhaps inimical will let us know some day.
If this is correct I will let you know for certain, if I didn't that would be rather selfish now....
they are all incorrect sadly....
inimical, this is a real tease, a striptease you might say.
I was sure landing strip would be correct...hmm...
I, too, Cav. Kev's was funny, however.
Inimical, does the placement of the word to the left have significance?
It could be a stripper pole....
Hello,
I am unsure of whether the placement has anything to do with the answer itself. Here it is as written by my friend who gave it to me...
What am I?
S
T
R
I
P
This is just stumping me.....
A bottomless strip tease?
A partial strip tease?
Or just strip tease?
Maybe a piece of tape....
The word strip can mean to undress i.e. TAKE OFF your clothes, and the word strip is VERTICAL so how about: VERTICAL TAKE OFF?
Oooh. Vertical Take-off. Groovy.
That is a most excellent guess. I truly hope you are correct.
Vertical Take Off is correct!
Thanks a bundle.
