@RAJPUT,
Yes, there are many laws against conspiracy and blackmail. Why exactly did you want to know?

Are you saying that someone put a tap on your family's phone line ? and is now blackmailing your family with some of the information he got from the tap?

Perhaps it would help matters if you explained here about which country you are asking.

Also what does this phrase mean? "can you grass a person"

@Ragman,
to turn them into the police, it's a british slang, we'd say "rat someone out"

@djjd62,
Thanks! I've heard a lot of Brit slang in my day, but that is a new one on me.

Now the question remains is about which country is this member asking?

@RAJPUT,
Have you contacted a lawyer/barrister?

@Ragman,
Ragman - a brief review of past posts by Rajput will show he was trying to apply for asylum in Manila, Philippines, after being denied a visitor's visa for the United States, and he's been turned down by almost every European country - all of which he blames on "racism". It may be he's still in the UK, but his problems seem only distantly related to telephones.

@High Seas,
thanks, HS. All very fascinating. Seems that common sense is in a shortage.
