ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A man accused of taking off his clothes on US Airways flight to Los Angeles -- forcing it to be diverted to Albuquerque -- was in court Thursday morning.
The hearing for 50-year-old Keith Wright was continued until Monday at the request of his attorney, assistant federal public defender Roger Finzel.
According to a criminal complaint, Wright told the FBI he suffers from a bipolar disorder and had not taken his prescribed medication that morning.
Finzel requested that Wright have access to his medication while in custody in a medical unit.
He says Wright will be fine with his medication.
Wright, of New York, was taken into custody by airport authorities after he disrobed while sitting in his seat in the back of Flight 705 Tuesday evening from Charlotte to Los Angeles.

As long as he wasn't smoking and had his seat belt on, what's the problem?
@Merry Andrew,
Maybe he was major league ugly. Or perhaps he was stacking donuts in a strange way?
@Ragman,
there is no reason, at this point in time, to opine that the naked passenger was OmSegDavid expressing his right to freedom of expression.
Maybe the Captain told everyone to make themselves at home. If he'd been flying in Vermont it would have been legal anyway.
@dyslexia,
I thought it was you!!!
Since the flight got diverted to NM, I just figured you had found a way to get a flight home...LOL
Seriously, this guy is mentally ill, judging by what I have heard on the news.
His lawyer says he didnt take his pills.
