next to the bead there is a date code made into the tire.

@Rockhead,
There was talk at one time about molding an expiration date into the tire. The idea was killed by tire dealers.

was not ignoring you roger, went to work and assumed the thread passed on of natural causes.
I'm sure Coker screamed the loudest.
much like the beer guys, and battery boys, born on dates are fine, but they never expire...
