This one will be relatively easy . . . no requirements about riffing off the previous post.

Just post a silly version of a song lyric, or a misunderstood lyric. I was inspired by Randy Bachman's program, "Vinyl Tap." (Randy was one of the founders of the rock group Guess Who, and of Bachman-Turner Overdrive--he now does a weekly program on CBC.)

I'll start us off, so that you can get an idea. From "South Pacific:"

Sam and Janet Evening
You may see a stranger . . .

(Let's have fun, goys and birls)

How about a little Irving Berlin.

Stand beside her
And guide her
Through the night with a light from a bulb.

Let's get raunchy --

Nothin' could be finer
Than to shack up with a minor
In the mo-o-ornin'

I used to sing this about a guy I worked with (to his back, not behind it) Mr. Green
Borned on a tabletop in Illinois
Even when he growed up he was still a boy
Raised in the woods sos he wouldn't **** on the floor
Throwed by his Mama right out the door
----- ----- ------- the man that don't know ****
