Apologies for Spam Emails

Reply Wed 22 Apr, 2009 05:16 pm
I am about to throw the friggin laptop out the window. I used the address Robert provided, I clicked it and the message I emailed was sent via outlook explorer which is, obviously, not hotmail. They won't accept the email if it's not from hotmail. They also want a copy of the spam. Since I don't get the spam, I sent walters. But, if my Dad is correct, they won't see the spam because the spam erases my messages and replaces it with it's own. At least, I hope, they'll see that and be able to figure out what's going on. Grrr.

@Region Philbis,
Hey Reg, I tried spamcop by using walter's quote. It didn't have anything for me.

If you want I can try to help you here in this chat widget (so I can ask questions more quickly):

I received one, k. Sender :"Kris". I didn't open it (believing it to be spam, as it was labelled by my security system). Didn't even consider it might be from "you"! Surprised Wink

Sorry about these troubles, k, & hope you can fix them soon. Good luck! Smile

@Robert Gentel,
I think I need to take a break, but thanks Craven. That's a cool widget. I'll come back to fight more later. And I'll disconnect in the meantime.

I didn't check each entry and it's been a while since I've researched a HJT log so I may have missed something but my quick check didn't turn up anything that stood out as malware. So hopefully that's the end of it. Let me know if otherwise.

Nah....emails from a particular sender kind of collapse....it just shows one with a "+" sign.

I can tell if they send something new, because of the darkness of the print.

For some reason, Blatham's "collapse" attracts other people's emails....it has done it several times. It's not a folder as such.
