I came across this small piece in todays London Daily Mail
GOD ON HER SIDE
In the American city of Tacoma, a woman was about to be attacked by a rapist. She began to pray out loud & her assailant asked if she was a Christian.
When she said Yes, he apologised, pulled up his pants & left.
I don't have a link for this tale but maybe someone on A2K lives in Tacoma & can source the local paper
"...and shook her hand..."???????????
WEIRD.
"Please, God. Please, God, no. God, please, no."
Not what I was expecting to see for prayer.
So, if she was Jewish, or an atheist, or a Wiccan, he'd've persisted?
Yeah, the hand-shaking thing creeps me out almost as much as the rest of it. Oy.

L'k you been watching to much TV
I even think this was wierd.
I doubt the entire story. In the opening of the article, it reads "police said." However, it is evident from the text that anything the police said was what she had reported. Are we to believe that a predatory type such as a rapist would go out to rape a woman found randomly, but not if she were Christian? I think it's nonsense. Anyone of that type would be obliged to look for a special neighborhood in this country to be assured that the victim were not likely to be Christian.
