What two of these schools of thought would not work well with Shakespeare's King Lear? Which one works the best?

@Ragman,
I'm supposed to describe why two schools of thought would not work, and why one school would. Problem is, I know little about these schools of thought!

I could say simple stuff such as, King Lear is not structuralist because it has a unique storyline that no 0ther work has, or it is not modernist because it wasn't made in that time period. Help!
