Hmm...still no response from the fearless leader of this thread...gonna bring out the 'Merican's best psy-ops techniques ever devised now:

Jump back, what's that sound ?
Here she comes, full blast and top down.
Hot shoe, burnin' down the avenue.
Model citizen zero discipline

Don't you know she's coming home with me?
You'l lose her in the turn.
I'll get her!

Chorus:
Panama, Panama
Panama, Panama

Ain't nothin' like it, her shiny machine.
Got the feel for the wheel, keep the moving parts clean.
Hot shoe, burnin' down the avenue,
Got an on-ramp comin' through my bedroom.

Don't you know she's coming home with me?
You'll lose her in the turn.
I'll get her!

Chorus

Yeah, we're runnin' a little bit hot tonight.
I can barely see the road from the heat comin' off of it.
Ah, you reach down, between my legs,
ease the seat back.

She's blinding, I'm flying,
Right behind the rear-view mirror now.
Got the feeling, power steering,
Pistons popping, ain't no stopping now!

Chorus

What is the story behind that?

I've heard that America blaired that song outside some guys castle.

Could you tell me who, and why if you know. Thanks.

MUSIC OF MASS DESTRUCTION
http://www.exclaim.ca/index.asp?layid=22&csid1=135
During the 1989 American invasion of Panama, General Manuel Noriega fled to a nearby Catholic Church. The CIA and U.S. Department of Defense then blasted loud rock'n'roll music at the church - reportedly AC/DC - continuously for three days until church authorities protested. CIA spokesperson Enya Gellshire would neither confirm nor deny that agency exposed Noriega to the metal stylings of AC/DC during "Operation Just Cause." "Maybe you should call the Pentagon," Gellshire sputtered when asked why the CIA went with foreign-made weapons; no reasons were given for the CIA's decision to overlook Van Halen's "Panama."

The music choice are as diverse as the many articles written about it, but the first song was "Welcome to the Jungle' by Gun's and Roses, until Tipper got chocked... it was apparently evil!
So back to the topic at hand.

I think that viewing rock stars as satanic gives them waaaay too much credit (sorry BPB). And, if one views rock music as a blind vehicle driven by the devil himself with the participants not intending to do evil, well then, that, in my mind, is a good story for a movie.

Ted Nugent only calls himself a nigger. Black Entertainer of the year. And if you know anything about the man you'd know he gives more back to the community than just about any other rocker out there. His "Kamp For Kids" is a shining example.

I admire the Nuge for having the courage to speak out. He has basically shot the president of PEDA'S dog, and made him eat it.
