Only if you want it to be.
Yes. And music by boy bands promotes sex with retards if you play it backwards.
some is....some ain't....country music is about adultery, gettin' drunk, divorce....is it Satanic? All those things are in direct opposition to God's law....difference being that country music artists wrap it up in the American Flag and are by and large pro war...so that makes it okay I guess
Metallica always makes me want to kill something/body. So maybe. Who cares?
Ted Nugent is all about sex and, well, sex. He wraps it up in the flag too. But he gives back to the community more than any rocker I know of. Satanic? I think not.
Hey, cjhsa, lest we forget, the Nuge is also about shootin' wild boar with a crossbow, which I truly respect. Killing for food is something everyone should learn. The Nuge is also a devout non-drug-taking, non-drinkin', non-smoking kind of dude, from what I know. I would concur, not Satanic.
Umm, just re-reading my post, I was actually being sincere, just in case it doesn't read that way.
I know Cav. If I could stop drinking I'd be just like Ted!
Though I can't say I've ever shot anything with a bow other than a straw target. Give me gunpowder!
I hear ya cjhsa....I know them straw targets....though back then, when I was taking archery, I wasn't old enough for beers. I know a couple of bird shooters, and game hunters...client of mine owns a salmon fishing and game farm out in New Brunswick. Cooked fresh-shot Woodcock, Wild Duck, Salmon and what-not for him in the past.
Woodcock, the two-bite bird. All dark meat too, tastes like liver. Not my fave.
Is Rock/Metal Satanic??
I certainly hope so . . .
A type of music can't not be Satanic, only people can. Or maybe objects, but not music, that i am sure of.
It's all in the "ears" of the beholder
Those who don't like rock music are usually the first ones to decry "satanic, devil's music, etc."
Quote:Just 'cause you don't understand what's going on
don't mean it don't make no sense
And just because you don't like it,
don't mean it ain't no good.
- from the song "You Can't Bring Me Down" by Suicidal Tendencies
Have you ever seen the Pantera dvds?
It addresses this topic.
Setanta -- I think he meant Satanic, not Setantic. :-)
But hey, whatever sad antics make Santa tick...
heeheeheeheeheeheeheehee . . .
CB, i was just thinking to the possiblities for makin' christians scarce through the use of loud r & r . . .
