Well, what are you asking? How to get your hair to look like that? No idea.

@marilynmansonsangel,
You can try hairspray and mousse, but you probably would have to add a hair weave if you want that kind of volume everyday.

By the way, the good news is the older you get the less you will care about this kind of crap. You will also have a good laugh about spraying grey into your hair.

@marilynmansonsangel,
You want your hair to look like that regularly, without putting a lot of work into it? you're going to need to add a weave - you haven't got enough natural volume by the looks of it.

good luck

I used to do that type of style and what I had to do was add hair spray and just a little mouse to my hair BEFORE I dried it. You sort of want your hair crunchy if that makes sense....

@marilynmansonsangel,
One other thing - do you know how to tease hair? You take a clump of hair, hold it up and comb it BACK towards you scalp. It puts air and kink into the hair to create volume. Spray it with something like Aquanet.

I'm 47 years old and I can't believe kids are still dressing the way I did 27 years ago. When are you kids going to come up with a new style??

@shewolfnm,
Hey SheWolf, we have the perfect boufant/punk hair - this kid looks more like a WASP. She's probably going to need that weave.

@Green Witch,
I thought about that after I posted .

Her hair appears very thick ( the hair shaft itself) but there isnt much of it.

Under hair clips with serious ratting works for someone with thin hair.. but damn thats a lot of work.

oh wait..
Helmet Head.

Hair spraying WHILE you are using the curling iron..
Stiffens hair up right away.
Could possibly "pose" the hair, clip it in place, and spray like crazy afterwords to keep it in place.. ?

@lmur,

I have a few tiny mice in my hair.

They keep it nice and crunchy..

@shewolfnm,
I think that's why they call small hair pieces "rats".
I often french braid my hair and use a scarf wrap to hold it in place.One night I was undoing my hair and giant dead bumblebee fell out from inside the braid. I have no idea how it got in there, and whether or not it died from suffocation or old age.

@marilynmansonsangel,
Angel - You're cute as can be. I like it straight, but if you want all that big hair thing goin' on, I recommend the Aussie brand Freeze Spray. I think it's still in a purple can at Wal-mart and other fine stores. Just make sure your hair is where you want it when you spray.
