NASA's space shuttle Endeavour recently returned to the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, after its successful mission to the International Space Station, 31 photos total!

Just watched the old old film of When Worlds Collide. A lot of features of body design reminded me a great deal of the shuttles.

A classic. I have it on DVD. Good book, too.

Did you like the sequel?

@edgarblythe,
If there was a sequel to the book, I read it so long ago that I no longer remember. I am unaware of a sequel to the film.

@Brandon9000,
Pal wanted to film the sequel, based on the book, but his movie about a manned mission to Mars was such a failure, he lost the opportunity. Conquest of Space was the film title (about the mission to Mars).

Today it will be exactly 30 years since the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded. Of course I wasn't around at that time but I do remember when Shuttle Columbia was lost in 2003.
