Importing from China to USA

Mon 24 Nov, 2008 09:40 pm
I am making small orders from China in amounts of $250 to $400 as I sell products. I just do not know if I am suppose to be paying anything like import taxes and duties. I am ordering electronics, and don't need warehousing or anything like that. Any advise would help and be greatly appreciated.

@amdgadget,
The product you ordered will need to clear customs, at which point you'll need to pay the taxes.

@amdgadget,
You had better find a forwarder to clear customs,they will pay the taxes and duties depending the goods you purchased.

@amdgadget,
Make arrangements for your customs broker to clear them through customs. If everything goes well, it’s your rights to pick up your shipment.
