Unbiased reporting on China by the west?

I think unbiased reporting is nearly impossible to achieve....

Do you think there is much unbiased reporting re the west in China?

possible - but not as much. Chinese reporters are more interested in informing the public facts, as opposed to the commercial aspects of the western media. Their reports are much more accurate. Many may argue that that is because there is nothing BAD to report about the west, but having said that, what about Guantanamo Bay, the CCTVs all over UK streets and Hicks of Australia?

They just don't want to admit what a progressive China is. Ignore them and go with the truth from public spirited reporters from China.

That is an interesting observation - they don't want to admit progressive China is today and therefore they provide lies in western media. The deeper question - is why? What is the threat to them that China is progressing? Why does Japan or Korea not have the same kind of hositility? This is something on a westerner can answer for me.
