Attending the dress rehearsal of Mathilde de Shabran at Covent Garden, the leading principal soprano Aleksandra Kurzak did not sing only mimed the role. Her understudy a lovely Greek soprano did the mammoth task instead . All glory to HER! She was quite superb, but WHAT IS HER NAME?

I'm not up on modern opera divas-- so naturally Maria Callas comes to mind. I don't think that's correct, though.
