I can't offer any advice - but I am sincerely sorry for your troubles and wish you and your son the best - you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

well Tuesday he'll have surgery to fix the nose and the septum....

He's a tough cookie. I asked him the night it happened if he was in pain... did he need anything for it.

"No. It didn't hurt."

After surgery yesterday i asked him how he was feeling... did he need anything... are you in pain...

Again, the quizzical look, "No. It didn't hurt but the doctor and my Dad said I have to leave this bandage on my nose for a week. And, guess what ...I might and I might not."

"Why would you not?"

"Cause it hurts." (meaning it bothers him)

Oh, but breaking his nose didn't. Smile

What a kid!
