I notice with extreme pleasure that my net pay this month was a good amount higher. It seems I did not have any Social Security deductions. This year because of some organizational changes, I received a once in a lifetime bonus that I just received end of last month - which pushed up my earnings significantly.

I've never made this much before so I was wondering if the reason I did not get a deduction was because there is a social security cap. Anyone know?

@Linkat,
I still haven't figured out how our government does anything, so you're asking the wrong person. LOL
