@tsarstepan,
I don't know. But did this poor fox get him some rabbit?

(apologies if this has already been posted...)

Quote:
In August 1999, Wallace and Ann Collito's home in North Attleboro was buzzing with activity. It was the place to be! The streets were full of curious neighbors, camera crews and photographers.

So, what was all the hoopla about, you ask? People were there to witness the unthinkable, something that defied all the laws of nature: A kitten and a crow engaged in a most unusual nurturing relationship. It's a known fact that cats & birds are arch enemies.

I found a larger version of the same turtle in the swimming pool a few months back.
Drove it about four miles to a small lake.
Last time I seen it it was making its way into the vegetation along the water's rim.
I did too; he had about a 14 inch neck.
I found him Upstate NY; he was standing on double yellow lines,
apparently waiting for traffic to clear.
I parked, and picked him up by the back of his shell.
He tried to bite me, but his neck was not long enuf.
I carried him to the side of the road and released him in
a wet irrigation ditch, next to a farmer 's wet field.

You got it!

My former boss (blonde and very bright) was forming up a club of several other intelligent blondes, and they were searching for just the right name. I suggested The Golden Retreivers.

It was a good job while it lasted.

@Robert Gentel,
Robert, Those cats must be glued in. I can't imagine any other way to get them to do that.

@Roberta,
Yet you can imagine gluing them in?!

@Robert Gentel,
Yechh, no. I just know enough about cats to wonder how in the world they would all do that--be where you want them to be, stay where you want them to stay--without coercion of some kind. Glue was the first thing that came to mind. Shame on me. Embarrassed

@Roberta,
I didn't mean it that way, I meant that I imagine that gluing them would be just as difficult if not more so.

Come on, this is the guy who thinks the peanut butter/cat joke is the funniest thing around*, nothing to be ashamed of.

* As long as no cats are harmed in the making of the joke.

@Robert Gentel,
See, now I can imagine the gluing. It would take hours or even days. And hair would be flying, blood would be shed, but once they're glued, they're glued.

I can't figure out how else to get all those cats to do that and stay there long enough to take a picture. I can't imagine getting one cat to stay where I'd want it to stay long enough for me to take a picture.

I checked out the cat/peanut butter joke. Liked it. Liked the logic. It reminds me of another joke--not appropriate for the odd moments in the animal kingdom thread. I'll think about tossing it in elsewhere.

@Roberta,
I could imagine cats liking that on their own without being put, and then an innocent bystander snapping a picture. (That's a lotta cats though.) Could be photoshop too. (Different cats in it at different times, slap the whole thing together.)

@sozobe,
soz, I prefer the photoshop idea to the glue. Thanks.
