Poor or not, the gentleman in that picture is doing something idiotic (assuming the picture is real). I could think of several smarter ways to work under a vehicle that don't cost any money and have the advantage of not breaking your neck.

But let's go with your thought above. Consider for a moment all the poor of the world that the US has kept under the screws of brutal dictators - ensuring that these people, while certainly not idiots, are prevented from attaining their full potential in so many facets of their existence.

Now consider how massive is the propaganda that leads many people to think that the US is not that massive oppressor at all. They believe that the US helps the poor of the world to be less oppressed, that the US takes active steps to promote the welfare of the poor and the downtrodden around the world.

You seem to genuinely care about people like this, Max, but you studiously avoid the deathtrap, the misery maker that is the USA. None of you can avoid this reality except by avoiding reality. Why do you do this?
