FUBB (fucked up beyond belief) is a step beyond FUBAR (fucked up beyond recognition), which is a step beyond SNAFU (situation normal -- all fucked up). It really is a handle little scale for gauging circumstances at a given moment. I do know CRAFT and FIGJAM...

@patiodog,
You missed the intermediary between SNAFU and FUBAR: TARFU, or "things are really fucked up."

Stood for 'Jesus Christs' in reference to sandals that girls used to wear to school.

Used to be very common parlance...

We don't have Preparation H, but we do have Oil of Olay (but up until a few years ago it was called Oil of Ulan (same bottle and label) for decades.

@hingehead,
Considering what a merkin is....

http://www.sharpsusa.com/blog/wp-images/media/MerkinFl.jpg

...I'm assuming one could have a twisty.

(Or are you talking about Murricans, and those wire twist-tie things? Or something akin to a swirly? Or a titty-twister?)

(Thanks for TARFU back there, by the way, I think it was DD...)

@devriesj,
I believe that's "pwned," actually, but I didn't know until now why that was so...

@devriesj,
He does, indeed, mean Americans.

I don't think it has anything to do with text talk...he is gently pulling our American friends' legs by likening them to pubic wigs.
