When I do it Merry calls it The Look.

"DO IT UP BROWN - "Do something well; do it to one's satisfaction." That's the "official" definition, but I've mainly heard it used as an exaggeration, when something is overdone, or very elaborate (as in an excuse, brown-nosing, etc).

No. I've never heard of the term applied to money. It can apply to a person.....so and so is 'out of pocket' at the moment meaning unavailable. Or hunting for something on your desk, you explain to the caller that it is out of pocket...hold on for a minute......
