Everywhere I look there are books by this woman!!!

She always seems to have new books out and they all seem to be best-sellers!!

Has anyone here actually read her books?

What do you think of them?

What is the attraction?

I mean, she can't even spell Stephanie!

@2PacksAday,
Yeah....but you're like Woody Woodpecker...you're trouble!

(I saw the Seinfeld episode with the Woody theme the other day. Can you tell?)

@dlowan,
That episode is not coming to mind....not that I've seen every single one either....but yes, I am troublingly woodish.

I think the books are geared toward teens, I didn't even know she had written an adult novel. I heard about her thru some Harry Potter fans, they were talking about the series on a podcast....saying that it must be a "girl" thing, because none of them knew any guys that had read them, only girls. But I think the boys have caught on now...with the end of the HP series, I would assume they were searching for something to fill the void.

My daughter {17} swears by the series, perhaps this winter I will take a peek and see if I agree with her.

@2PacksAday,
Yes...I was kind of confused because I had never heard of her, then I saw great stacks of this "adult" novel, surrounded by all these other books of hers, and it seemed as though she was big.

The hype of her at present is unbelievable!

I don't "do" fantasy, but I do still have a kind of attachment to SF, which this adult book seems to contain some traditional elements of.

I suppose the hype (as it is meant to do!) piqued my interest, and I hoped an A2ker whose taste I respect might have read her and I could have got some non-hype idea about it.

I have read crits at Amazon...but, well, you know....

I was looking for some holiday reading, but not absolute trash.

She is the author of the the Twilight sereies. Four books aimed mostly at young adults which consists of 4 books: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. They are love stories with vampires and werewolves involved. I saw them everywhereI looked so I finally said what the heck and picked up the first one. I didn't sleep for three days as I bulled my way through all 4 of them in a row. I got hooked. They are a bit cheesey but I like cheese and enjoyed them very much.

@Aldistar,
Cool! Someone who has read her!!!

Have you read the "adult" one??????

Good cheese, eh?

It's funny, I actually decided to pick up the adult one to read yesterday, and, after having stacks of it hit me in the eye wherever I went for weeks, I only had 20 minutes before the shops closed, and I couldn't find ONE!
