I took Madison, my 9-month old Bichon Fries to the pet groomer yesterday. He got a bath, his first haircut and brushing and looks beautiful, just the way Bichon Fries show dogs look. I didn't know the little mutt could look so cute.
The groomer said Maddy gave her a hard time with wiggling around and trying to chew the brush. He generally was a pain in the butt. He came home all poo-fooed up with scent and a bandana tied around his neck. He thought he was king of the hill.

Bailey's response to grooming is usually to find the closest stinky thing, to give a good roll - cover that pretty pretty scent.

Beth, you are so right about our beloved mutts. Maddy went running across the street to play with his Spaniel buddy, Cooper. Well, Cooper took one sniff of the poo-fooed Maddy and sneared at him. It took a while for them to do their using romping on the front lawn.
