About rereading: I do it regularly. How can't you? A book you like deserves it!
@Yalow,
I can't read a book unless it's got a good car chase in it. The novelisation of Vanishing Point was sublime. "Brum..brum.ruv. ruv..screech, snurk sknurk. Aaagh."
They don't write them like that any more.
There are interesting things about Jane Austen here:

@bathsheba,
Yes, I am also a fan of hers. My favorite novel by Jane Austen is Emma. Her novel "Emma" gives a message about the dangers of pride. All her novels give us a valuable message. Currently, I've been reading her Sense and Sensibility.
Jane Austen is a bit of a tourist trap in these parts.
She appears on the £10 note, and if you enter Hampshire from the South East there is a sign saying Jane Austen County.
Anyway she is buried in Winchester Cathedral and there are two houses in the immediate area associated with her, one in Winchester itself, and another in the nearby town of Alton.
I understand tours are available.
@izzythepush,

I would
love that! Thanks for the information.
@Yalow,
I think she spent a lot of time in Bath too.

Yeah that is the closest I did for an Austen tour was to go to bath. That actually was a pretty interesting visit and tour.
Been quite along time since I've been over the pond.
I finished reading The Independance of Miss Mary, by Colleen McCollough. It's a 'sequel' to Pride and Prejudice, except the main character is not Elizabeth, but Mary Bennet. Of course it doesn't reach the high quality of Jane Austen's writing, but I liked it and recommend it.
@Yalow,
Thanks ill make note of it after Indian st my current book
Now let's make a quiz. I give the name of the main character(s), and you tell me which novel it is. The first one to have the right answer wins a point. Ready?
@Yalow,
Have you ever read the best selling, most translated and circulated book in mankind's history?
@formeandyou,
Which is...? The Bible, I guess.
@Yalow,
What would you state if you were told your answer to my limital question indicates “You are not far from the Kingdom of God"? -Mark 12:34.
@formeandyou,
So, this topic is just a lame excuse for you to proselytize?
