Today is the day Bumnblebee was born, 79 years ago. It didn't make headlines, but it should have if anyone was prescient enough to know what this woman would accomplish in her life.

So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BUMBLEBEE BOOGIE!!!!!!!!

BBB's daughter started a birthday thread for her mom. That should be the appropriate thread for BBB.

Thank you, everyone. I'm getting old! But I've lost nearly ten pounds, so that's something to celebrate.

Dolly and Madison had a good time playing with Diane yesterday.

We talked and talked while I fed her Chicken and Dumplings for lunch. Diane said she wept watching The Bucket List CD I gave them last week. Great film. Then we tried to get a CD to work about Tosca she brought to watch. We couldn't get my remote to play the film. So today, I'm going to Diane and Dys' home to watch it. High tech Dys can work miracles.

Diane brought me a ice cream birthday cake yesterday, my first, and I later watched a wonderful film she brought, The Cats of Mirikitani. I wept in memory of my best friend and her family, who spent four years in the Japanese Internment camps during WWII. If C.I. hasn't seen this film, he should: http://www.thecatsofmirikitani.com/

Talked to my son by phone yesterday because he can't walk much. He confers with his surgeon today to decide whether to have both of his knees replaced or to do them one at a time. Tough decision because knee replacement surgery ain't easy. Hope it finally ends his severe pain so he can work again.

Butrflynet sent me an Amazon gift certificate 'cause she knows I'm always buying books. She's doing really demanding work from her home in California. Maybe she will tell A2Kers about it.

Hugs and Kisses to my A2K pals from Dolly and Madison.
