Hello, I need help with 139A "On foot, by ... pony". I can only come up with Shank's Pony but it doesn't fit! Many thanks.

A variation of that expression is "shank's mare" -- would that fit?

Welcome to a2k. Have finished my Demon and the answer is "SHANKSS".

Look at the clue: On foot, by....pony (6'1). You need 7 letters!

Hi all, Is there a gremlin or am I thick? 20 across "Homo Sapiens" I assume is HUMAN but it does not fit with 13 down "Heave" for which I have put HAUL.
