i got a goldfish yesterday and it was fat then when i looked in the tank this morning it wasn't fat any more and then in the day it aws picking up gravel and spiting it out again DID IT LAY EGGS AND EAT THEM!

No answer, flipper, but that's one helluva screen name.
Might be that he had emptied his water tanks and was eating now the gravel as ballast?
goldfish are unpredictable.
It might have eaten its eggs.
It might have been working as a drug mule and made the drop when you weren't around.
oh yeah, they look so sweet and innocent.
my fishy likes to suck on his gravel too.
