I CANT FIGURE THIS OUT PLEASE HELP AND POST BACK
A SLIDER/CRANK MECHANISM IS DRIVEN BY A FLAT BELT PULLEY SYSTEM. THE LARGER DRIVER PULLEY ROTATES AT 5 REVS/SEC, AND IS 200MM DIAMETER, THE SMALLER PULLEY IS 150MM DIAMETER. THE PULLEY CENTRES ARE 600MM PART AND THE COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION BETWEEN THE TWO PULLEYS IS 0.25. THE MAXIMUM TENSION IN THE PULLEYS IS LIMITED TO 1 KN DETERMINE:
a) the velocity ration of the system
b) the angle of the lap between the pulleys and the belt.
c)the maximum power that can be trasmitted by the system before the slipping occurs.
d)other types of belt that are availabel and their merits compared with the flat belt.
e)another power transmission method that could be used in this situation and its merits compared with the pulley system
please help me please
