Hi Everyone
Wow, this one really is a stinker!
37a Chatting - I have Y?R?ING (I think it should be yacking)
but have 13d Quip as EPIGRAM so that doesn't fit.
ALso, 81d Damps down, I have AS?UASES with
80a Sea fog/Scotland as HAAR
86a Wall bracket light as SCONCE
94a Pristine as UNSPOILT
97a UK theatre school as RADA
104a Speculate as SEEMS
111a Fill with joy as ELATE
118a Diving gear as SCUBA
but 81d eludes me.
Could someone help me with these two?

At 81 d. I have, as Francis stated, assuages. 104a guess.
At 37a. I have yarning.

Thank you for your answers.
With 37a Chatting, Yakking doesn't fit in because I have for
13d Quip EPIGRAM.
So, as canoe3154 suggests YARNING, this does fit in and does
mean chatting.
What does anyone else think?

Just to clarify. All my answers correspond to yours except for 104a at which I have GUESS. I too have EPIGRAM at 13d so thats what gives YARNING at 37a.
